Matthew 7:21 (NASB)
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
The one who does the Father's will is the one who will enter the kingdom of heaven, according to Jesus. Jesus taught that living a life of obedience to God is more vital than empty talks.
It is not enough to simply "talk" like a believer or convince people that you are a believer; you must also live a Christ-like life in accordance with God's word and teachings by being obedient to God. If you believe in God's teachings and put them into action, you demonstrate to others and to God that you are a true believer.
We have to ask ourselves –
Do we believe we are carrying out God's will in our lives?
Are we doing God's will and values?
A person is a believer not because he or she claims to be, but because Christ Jesus is reflected in his or her everyday life and actions.
