God's Divine Protection

Hello from sunny California.  I am on my way to the Philippines but stopped over in Redding to visit some friends.

Just wanted to thank you for your prayers as I traveled.

God's Divine Protection

While I was in Chattanooga, I was in a car accident which totaled the rental car I was driving.  The car I hit was not damaged nor was the driver hurt.  My car looks very bad but I was not hurt at all.

A third party caused the accident and then fled the scene.  But the great news is, I was able to pray for the man in the other car and also for the police officer who helped with the accident.

While I was traveling, I was able to buy my plane tickets! Thanks to some very generous friends!! Plus I was able to use my Lowe's paycheck to pay for the deductible for the car insurances. that covered the rental. I was able to reconnect with many friends and family while on the road, plus was allowed to preach at two different churches. I spoke on signs wonders and miracles with demonstrations of power many people were healed and touched by the Lord.  I also was able to tell people who do not have a walk with the Lord about the good news of great joy!! It boils down to 2 Cor 5:21 God made Jesus who knew no sin, to be sin on our behalf so that we might become the righteousness of God. In plain English Jesus became all that we do not like about ourselves or other people’s bad actions. So that we could become what Jesus is..Love Joy peace, a son of God.. Holy Blameless.  You see Jesus did not come to make us religious in any form..far from that. Jesus came to free us from ourselves I.E. for us to now have the power to live a godly life in the Holy Spirit. To learn what it means to be a child of God and so live accordingly to what we know pleases Him. Do you have to pray? No! Do you have to read the bible? No! Do you have to go to church? No! All those are choices we get to make, however once you begin to hear HIs voice (God) learn to hang out with Him as  He intended to in the garden of Eden, when He made Adam and Eve You want to talk to Him as a loving Dad, that we call prayer, you want to read His love letter to you since it is not a law book of 613 laws and 10 commandments since Jesus fulfilled all that during His stay on earth and was accepted by God who raised Jesus from the dead.  We read the Bible because it reveals Jesus' heart toward us and other people, and in it we find Him..and once you know you are love by God unconditionally and He is pleased with you since you are in Jesus, you go to a place of worship to give public praise and thanksgiving because you want to be around those who love God,  Again all these come from choices that you make since you really believe and live out the Love of God that is poured out in your heart.

A Testimony from Dave of Chattanooga

For believers, our greatest fulfillment is partnering with God as He invites us to be a small but significant part of the eternally good things He does.  Our greatest joy is to help bring forth the works of God.  That's how I see giving to missionaries.  For just a little bit of money each month, I get to be a small but significant part of the good they are doing with God.  Many times when I hear where they are and what they are doing, I wish I could go there and do what they are doing; but I might lack the skills or the health or the time, or be too tied down with other things.  But I can be a part of all they do with just a small donation each month.  Just as in Exodus 17, when the Aaron and Hur held up Moses' arms so the victory could be won, so we also get to hold up the arms of others and help empower their work with God.  The victory was won because someone held up Moses arms.  And we can do that for others.  What a privilege!

Wendell, God bless you so much in California, in the Marshalls, and especially in the Philippines.  We love you!  Praying!
