HIS SHEEPS KNOW HIS VOICE

John 10:3-4
3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep listen to his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
4 When he puts all his own sheep outside, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.

Even today, sheep are separated from other flocks by the sound of their shepherd's voice. They follow their shepherd while sheep from other flocks follow their own shepherd even if the flocks are intermingled.

Jesus wants us to know that as our Shepherd, He knows us INTIMATELY and will CALL US by NAME. In return, we need to LEARN to RECOGNIZE His voice when He calls us.

How?

By reading His words and learning to recognize His ways and His will. He will lead us where He wants us to go and bless us as we need to be blessed, but we need to be able to distinguish His voice from the many false religious voices that crowd into our world today.

The only way to recognize Jesus' voice is to listen to and follow the words God has given us from Jesus in the Scriptures.

Challenge!

Let US renew our passion to know Jesus and follow His words!

Note: My husband love these verses (John 10-3-4) that is why I edited this lovely picture for him :)

Equip The Saints

Ephesians 4:11-16

11 And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ;
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
14 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;
15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ,
16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Thoughts to Ponder…

Every leader's ultimate goal is to "equip the saints for the work of ministry." This pertains to the principle of preparing believers to serve God here on earth. Thus, the training is not focused on academics, but strongly emphasizes PRACTICE.

Leaders are to train others in the church to serve others. Leaders are responsible for preparing them to lead.

Personal involvement (hands on) is required in order to have the greatest impact.

LEADERS ARE TO EQUIP THE SAINTS, NOT TO CRIPPLE THEM ☹

Praise Letter | April 2021 | Series 2

A blessing of a new day everyday!

I was reminded and convicted by a Zoom Joint Intercession with a man named Dan Hammer, he was encouraging the intercessor group that Jen and I are a part of from TFBC. He shared from the scripture 1 Timothy 2:1-8 we are to pray for those in authority so that we lead a tranquil and quiet life.

I thought I walk all the time and pass many checkpoints of police officers because of Covid lockdown, I am now stopping at every check point and praying for all the men. I also have increased my prayers for both America and Philippines governments.
